2. Review Emergency Work Order Agreement
After you’ve reviewed and signed the Emergency Work Order Agreement, we can perform the necessary work and bill your insurance company. At this time, no deductible is collected from you.
3. Begin Dry Down
With each plan, proven industry techniques are used to restore the area to its original condition, which typically includes:
- Open affected ceilings and walls
- Remove porous and hazardous materials
- Place dehumidifiers and air movers
- Remove molding areas, wet pad or carpet, and wet insulation
- Treating damage with eco-friendly antimicrobial agents
- Drill holes in walls for drainage
4. Monitor and Test Pre-Loss Moisture Level
For about three to five days, we will leave our water remediation equipment at the site. Depending on the job, it may be necessary to check the moisture level or to adjust the equipment. An inspection of the affected areas and a final moisture test will ensure the drying process is complete.
5. Prepare and Deliver Estimate
In most insurance policies, damages must be mitigated immediately, so estimates are not required upfront. In 24 hours, you will receive an estimate to determine how much work is needed.
